Outside Forklift Operator
CAST Transportation CAST Transportation Henderson, CO Henderson, CO Full-time Full-time $28 - $30 an hour $28 - $30 an hour Outside Forklift Operator Needed We are looking for an Outside Forklift Operator to join our Henderson, CO terminal.
Responsibilities:
Ability to safely drive several types of forklifts - 6,000 ton, 10,000 ton, 35,000 ton, and 55,000 ton Unloading railcars or trailers Reloading trailers Cleanup of railcars after unloading Cleanup duties in the yard (trash, wood, wire, cutting weeds, etc.
) Complete paperwork correctly for inbound and outbound shipments Verify inventory when needed Must have the ability to lift 100 lbs.
Wearing the proper PPE is required Any other jobs assigned by supervisor SKILLS:
Vocal and speaking capabilities are required to communicate effectively.
Ability to read and write in the English language sufficiently and interpret documents such as Bill of Lading, safety rules and operating and maintenance of the forklifts.
Able to read and write common English and Numerical data as used on shipping documents and all other documents.
Welding / Cutting experience a plus, but not necessary.
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of experience with a 15,000 ton forklift Adequately corrected vision and sufficient peripheral vision to maintain safety of the forklift or other vehicles at all times.
Be able to pass pre-employment hair drug screen and post-offer physical.
