This assignment can start as soon as Wednesday, February 28th with benefits as soon as March 1st!Job DetailsJob DetailsWe have an immediate contract need for a dynamic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Contractor.
This role is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated individual to be an integral part of our fast-paced team.
You will be handling full-cycle accounts payable operations, check processing, 3-way match, statements, and other related tasks.
This position requires a dedicated professional who can bring their valuable AP experience to our team and contribute to our financial accuracy and efficiency.
Responsibilities1.
Processing full-cycle accounts payable, including receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.
2.
Handling check processing and ensuring that all payments are made in accordance with company policies and procedures.
3.
Performing 3-way match tasks to ensure that invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports are aligned.
4.
Preparing and maintaining financial statements and reports related to accounts payable.
5.
Managing vendor relations and resolving any invoice discrepancies or issues.
6.
Assisting with month-end closing processes and other accounting projects as needed.
7.
Maintaining accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
8.
Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications1.
Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
2.
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
3.
Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and experience with accounting software.
4.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
5.
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
6.
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
7.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve discrepancies and issues promptly.
