Supply Chain Project Planner is needed to support the material project planning and purchasing departments of a Major Utility. The Project Planner will be knowledgeable with purchase order date management, logistics management, order expediting, open order reporting, data entry and loss and damage shipment tracking. Requires Supply Chain experience, utility construction preferred, and strong customer service skills. This is a Contract position in the Denver area.
Responsibilities for the Planner
Support the material project planning and purchasing departments through purchase order date management, logistics management, order expediting, open order reporting, data entry and loss and damage shipment tracking.
Primary point of contact for communicating with suppliers and various internal customers to manage and expedite purchase order deliveries, track supplier lead times, provide feedback on supplier performance and reconcile any invoice mismatch issues
Requirements for the Planner
Supply Chain experience or Supply Chain degree and understanding of Purchasing, Warehousing & Logistics and Accounts Payable. Utility construction preferred.
Skills with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and demonstrated customer service skills.
Ability to research, problem solve and investigate issues through the use of data preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
