Senior Underground Surveyor - Henderson Mine - Empire, CO

Minimum Qualifications
  • Advanced training or education in surveying, mapping or a related field
  • Three (3) years of surveying experience relevant to assignment, both surface and underground
  • Knowledge of the principles and methods used in complex land and underground surveys, including GPS surveys and 3-D scanning techniques
  • Skilled in the use of a variety of survey equipment, tools, and apparatus used in performing surface and underground surveys, e. g. total stations (Leica), data collectors and stakeout routines (TDS), cavity monitoring systems (CMS), Trimble Geomatics GPS
  • Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
  • Skilled in use of a variety of computer software including, but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite, standard survey software packages, AutoCAD, MineSight 3D, Carlson Survey, Trimble Business Software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of underground mining processes and requirements
  • Ability to resolve issues with the operations groups and contractors

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
