Manager Talent Acquisition

Overview Seeking actionable thought leader who will be responsible for leading the talent management strategy to recruit top industry talent in support of company's vision. This individual will already be well versed in the electrical transmission and distribution industry and will lead a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists who support MYR Group subsidiary companies in identifying and bringing on top talent. This individual will implement continuous development of diversity and inclusion strategies and will further the department mission of "Empowering Growth by Connecting People." Manager Talent Acquisition Responsibilities Lead Talent Acquisition team in continuous improvement of recruiting strategies and incorporation of best practices Manage and develop ongoing creative and cost-effective sourcing strategies, including social media platforms Compile, monitor and report critical recruiting metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost per hire, employee retention, etc. Support and develop college/university career fair talent search and pipelines Participate in industry networking events and forums Create and foster relationships with women/diversity/veteran/disabled career organizations Ensures adherence to all federal and state laws and regulations governing the employment process, including OFCCP compliance and good faith efforts Build networks to find qualified passive candidates through industry professional meetings/events Oversee department consistency with candidate interviews, presentations, selections, offer letters and onboarding handoff Act as working manager to identify and fill senior and/or executive roles  Oversee completion of ongoing wage surveys and other government data requests Oversee relationships with outside recruiters and vendors Effectively manage department costs according to budget allowance Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Manager Talent Acquisition Qualifications 5-7 years proven experience in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing and employment branding 2-4 years supervisory experience leading, coaching and measuring a talent acquisition team Demonstrated knowledge of the electrical transmission and distribution (T&D) industry required Demonstrated success in high volume full-cycle recruiting Demonstrated experience with continuous process improvement for talent acquisition Demonstrated experience working effectively in a team environment Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and databases Excellent communicator, both written and verbally Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience Experience working with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, as well as serving as a strategic partner to senior leaders Excellent organization and prioritization abilities

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
